An axe to the trees, smoke for the bees

Shwelp. Picture of Ven. From his younger days. This is after Marina marries but before the attack on the mansion, which led to Ven's capture & torture (which is how he got most of the scars on his face) and Marina's death.

You can kind of see the one scar he does have at this point in time, but he's kinda trying to hide his face here, and the added shadows sort of block it out.
